My research covers many aspects of insect taxonomy such as aphids’ systematics which cover insect taxonomy and the use of molecular tools for insects’ identification, as well as continuing understanding the evolutionary relationship of aphids and co-evolution with host plants and other insects such as predators, parasitoids and mutualism with ants.
